Google API Services Disclosure
MailRemover's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Your Data Deletion Rights
You have the right to delete all your data from MailRemover at any time.
Delete My DataThis will revoke Google access, cancel any subscription, and permanently delete all your information from our systems.
1. Information We Access
When you use MailRemover, we request access to your Gmail account through Google's OAuth 2.0 authentication. Specifically, we request the following permission:
- gmail.modify - Allows the app to read, send, delete, and manage your email messages and labels (excluding permanent deletion of messages or threads).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use access to your Gmail data solely to:
- Search and scan your inbox based on queries you provide
- Display email sender information and message counts
- Move emails to trash or archive at your explicit request
3. Data Storage
We do not store your emails or email content. Here's what we do and don't store:
What we DO store:
- Your email address (for account identification)
- Subscription tier and payment status
- Usage statistics (number of emails cleaned, not content)
- OAuth tokens (for maintaining your Gmail connection)
- Stripe customer ID (for payment processing)
What we DO NOT store:
- Email content, subjects, or body text
- Email attachments
- Contact lists or address books
- Any personal information beyond your email address
4. Data Retention
We retain your data as follows:
- Account data: Retained while your account is active
- Usage statistics: Retained for 12 months for service improvement
- OAuth tokens: Until you sign out or revoke access
- Payment records: Retained as required by law (typically 7 years)
You can request immediate deletion of all your data at any time using the Delete My Data feature.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any third parties. Your Gmail data is only accessed through secure API calls to Google's servers and is never stored, logged, or transmitted elsewhere.
6. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:

7. Data Security
We implement the following security measures:
- All connections use HTTPS/TLS encryption
- OAuth 2.0 for secure authentication (we never see your Google password)
- Session tokens are stored securely on the server
- No permanent storage of email content or metadata
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Delete your data: Request complete deletion of all your data from MailRemover
- Revoke access: Remove MailRemover's access through your Google Account permissions
- Export your data: Request a copy of the data we store about you
- Sign out: Clear your session at any time
9. Data Breach Notification
In the unlikely event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify affected users within 72 hours via email and post a notice on our website.
10. Children's Privacy
MailRemover is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We will notify users of material changes via email.
